Earlier this year, it was announced that Oscar-winner Guillermo del Toro would be writing and producing Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, with Andre Ovredal (The Autopsy of Jane Doe) directing the film. The project is an adaptation of Alvin Schwartz’s internationally best-selling book series, which follows a group of teens who take it upon themselves to solve the mysterious and sudden deaths that happen in their small town.
Now, Wayward Pines star Michael Garza and Paper Towns‘ Austin Abrams have oficially been cast. The actors are joined by Zoe Coletti, Gabriel Rush, Austin Zajur and Natalie Ganzhorn.
