If you’re a huge gamer and you haven’t already jumped on the subscription box train, now might be the perfect time.

Tech giant Microsoft is reportedly working on releasing a new monthly subscription service called “Xbox All Access” which would bundle an Xbox gaming console, Xbox Live and a Game Pass for a monthly fee.

Subscribers would pay from $22 to $35 a month-depending on the kind of console they choose-and it is important to note that unlike with regular monthly subscription packages, there is a two-year contract involved. It’s also important to note that as of right now, the total cost would be more than if you chose to pay for the console and Live and then separately paying for a monthly Game Pass. Fans can expect more details to emerge in the upcoming weeks.

Microsoft announced during E3 that they were planning on expanding the games available on the Game Pass and Phil Spencer, Vice President of Microsoft over gaming, stated that eventually bringing the service over to Windows would be a natural evolution.

One response to “Xbox Working on a Monthly Subscription Service”

  1. This would a bad thing for gamers Because Mirsoft already have a 3 month, 6 month and 1 year subscriptions. It would cost gamers more money for 1 month. Than if the you get the a 3 month subscription. It just does not make sense from a business prepective. The customers would not buy it.
