Celebi Will Soon be Made Available to All on Pokémon Go
Pokémon Go Fest 2018 was held this past July and there was an exclusive bonus for those who attended the event in Chicago: the chance to capture the ever elusive Celebi.
Truly a rare Pokémon, Celebi made its debut in Pokémon Gold and Silver. Since then, It’s been one of the hardest Pokémon to get a hold of, inspiring envy in those unable to call one their own – until now.
Niantic, the folks behind the game have just revealed that they will be releasing a special research task that would offer players a Celebi as a reward. Niantic so far has been very vague about exactly what the task will entail, simply stating that it will “test their skills” when they release it on August 20, 2018.
The task does have a pre-requisite however, requiring players to have finished the challenge set required in order to capture fellow mythical Pokémon Mew.
