If you’ve been looking for the right reason to finally go out and buy the Nintendo Switch, this might be it – Steven Universe: Save the Light and OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes will be released on the Switch in October.
Previously, both games were only available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but Cartoon Network has stated that they will be bringing their popular role-playing games to the Switch separately, as well as in a bundled set and will be able to be purchased both on the Nintendo eShop and in stores as physical releases.
Steven Universe: Save the Light is a 2.5D journey through Steven’s hometown with battles and sidequests that let you travel through the city as well as hang out with Steven’s human and alien friends. OK K.O. doesn’t require you to know the history of the cartoon in order to play as a majority of it brawling amongst wonderfully designed backgrounds and beautifully animated cutscenes.
Buying the duo pack will set you back $39.99 while buying them separately will cost you around $24.99 each. All of the options will be available to purchase on the day of the launch.
