‘Spider-Man’ PS4 Game Has “Gone Gold”

Probably the most anticipated game from Insomniac this year, Spider-Man for PS4 has reached an important development milestone, as the studio has announced that the game has “gone gold”.  This means that primary development for the game has been completed and is now is ready to be sent off for manufacturing.

The announcement was shared through the Twitter account of the company, thanking both Sony and Marvel for “their support in the creation of this original Spider-Man adventure,” with a picture of one of the most famous memes of the superhero.

Spider-Man PS4 will be set aside from any other game starring the web-slinger, as it is set in a new, standalone universe with an older, more experienced Peter Parker, as he faces his most memorable villains, like Electro, Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture, Shocker, and Silver Sable, among others.

What do you think about this news? Are you excited about being able to play this game any time soon? Let us know in the comment section down below!

Spider-Man is set to swing exclusively for PS4 on September 7, 2018.
