San Diego Comic Con 2018 brought us some exciting Steven Universe news, specifically that a movie is set to come out!  And not only that, fans also got to see the next episode after this summer’s latest string of new episodes.  But that’s not all.  More exciting Steven Universe news has come!

As any Steven Universe fan knows, the hiatuses in-between new episode releases are always months long if not more.  And that’s still the case.  But, while we all wait, Cartoon Network is releasing another new Steven Universe mobile app game.

Steven Universe: Tap Together is an tap-based RPG mobile game and it is out today for play.  Here, players can summon their favorite characters from the popular show and battle waves upon waves of monsters.  Like most RPGs, the more monsters and bosses you defeat with your team, the more XP and coins you get, and the more you play, the more characters you unlock!  Some characters that you may get include Onion, Jamie the mailman, and even Mr. Smiley, each with their own special abilities.

Not only that, the game comes with real-time multiplayer co-op feature where you can build friendships while taking down epic bosses.  Seems just like the sort of thing Steven would do.

The game is available now on Android and iOS, and it is free to play with some in-app purchases available.
