‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Renewed for Season 5
AMC announced during the TCA Summer Press that Fear the Walking Dead will be returning for a fifth season.
The series stars Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Garret Dillahunt, Maggie Grace and Jenna Elfman, with Scott M. Gimple serving as executive producer.
A spinoff of the beloved The Walking Dead, season four of Fear the Walking Dead marked the first crossover between the two shows, establishing the shared universe.
Gimple teased the possibility of more crossovers in the future, but what those might look like and what they may entail, are anyone’s guess. However, in telling that story, Gimple stated:
“We want to make sure Fear has its own identity, so the Walker gags are different. Everything that we do we want to make sure you get a different experience.”
The back half of the season will have the characters questioning who they are as individuals and as a part of the group, and what that means. Season 4B will find the characters facing new threats and enemies. Check out the trailer released during San Diego Comic-Con below:

Executive produced by showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, as well as Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd and Greg Nicotero, Fear the Walking Dead is produced by AMC Studios.
