This fall, Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! will be available for the Nintendo Switch and Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! for PlayStation 4.
The game is as fun as it is cute. And the game will do its best to stay true to the arcade classic while bringing a new level of fun personalized to the respective console. With Drum ‘n’ Fun! on the switch, the game uses the both Joy-Con controllers so players can air-drum their way into their newest high score. The game will even support up to four players and will also include 20 different mini-games. Not only that, players will get to see some familiar faces with the likes of Kirby and the Inklings from Splatoon.
On the other hand, Drum Session! for Playstation4 includes online play with players able to compete worldwide for high scores. And like Drum ‘n’ Fun, players can see some familiar characters cheering them on as they drum such as Hatsune Miku and Hello Kitty.
Additionally, both games will include familiar songs from animes and movies that will make players want to drum to. These songs can come from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Dragon Ball and One Piece, as well as music from recent Disney movies Frozen and Zootopia. Bandai will also have their own original songs in there for players to check out.
