‘Fairy Tail’ Sequel Makes Its Highly Anticipated Debut
Fairy Tail is set to return with the highly anticipated sequel titled, Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest. Having come to a conclusion last year, the return of the beloved series will bring with it many of the familiar faces.
Created by Hiro Mashima, the series first made an appearance in August 2006. It explores a fantasy world in which a wizard with the powers of a dragon named Natsu Graneel, goes in search of the dragon Igneel, his missing foster father.
Set to begin it’s publication in Weekly Shonen Magazine under Kodansha Comics, the sequel Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest will continue where the original series ended. Undertaking a mission, never before undertaken the sequel will have:
“The gang must head to the world’s first guild to accept the big undertaking, but things take a turn when they discover a huge dragon awaiting them at the ancient guild”.
Having been adapted into an anime by A-1 Pictures, Dentsu Inc., and Satelight in 2009. The third series is set to be released in the fall.
