Dragon Ball FighterZ Beta Bringing New Multiplayer Features to Switch
Bandai Namco has revealed that the Nintendo Switch beta for the highly-successful Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to start this August. In preparation for the game’s full release on September 28th, the Switch beta will allow players to test out 2v2, 1v1, and a 6-player party match mode! All matches played within the beta will be restricted to local-play, but will support full online capabilities upon release.
We're also glad to announce that the Nintendo Switch Open Beta test for Dragon Ball FighterZ is scheduled to start in August. The game will be released on September 28th with new local multiplayer features:

Players who pre-order the game prior to it’s Nintendo Switch debut will be rewarded a downloadable copy of Dragon Ball Z: Super Bouten. Originally released on the SNES in 1933, Super Butoden is one of DBZ’s more obscure fighters and was initially only released in Japan, France, and Spain. Along with the SNES title, a pre-order will also come with early access to both SSGSS Goku and Vegeta.
An exact date for when the beta will wit the Nintendo Switch has yet to be revealed, but for now, we know to expect it sometime in early August. But for those wanting to enjoy the full Dragon Ball FighterZ experience on the go, you’ll have to wait just a little longer for the full release on September 28th!
