Yvette Nicole Brown To Become Interim ‘Talking Dead’ Host
If zombies aren’t really your thing and therefore haven’t been keeping up with The Walking Dead, then you are also, unfortunately, missing out on The Talking Dead, a live aftershow that discusses the episodes of The Walking Dead with guests and celebrity fans as well as cast and members of the crew.

Yvette Nicole Brown
The show started back in 2011 and Brown is a frequent guest host on Talking Dead and has even hosted other AMC after-show programs such as Talking Preacher. The show is usually hosted by Chris Hardwick but back in June he was accused of sexual assault and emotional abuse by actress and former girlfriend Chloe Dykstra. After the story broke, AMC announced that they would be fully investigating Hardwick’s conduct and as a result pulled his show Talking With Chris Hardwick from the air.
Hardwick also stepped down from his Comic-Con hosting duties for both AMC and BBC and his name has been removed from Nerdist, a site which he helped to co-found. Hardwick admits that his relationship with Dykstra wasn’t perfect, but he vehemently denies the accusations of assault and abuse.
Brown will replace Hardwick at SDCC this year, moderating both the Fear the Walking Dead panel and The Walking Dead panel on July 20.
Of the change-up, Brown had this to say:
“I will say this once. I am filling in for a friend, which I have done before. I am not jockeying for a job, I have enough of my own. It is my prayer that God’s will is done in the midst of this process & that everyone is okay. My character is known & sound. Nothing has changed.”
