Aisha Tyler Moderating DC & Warner Bros. Panel At San Diego Comic-Con

Warner Bros’ two-hour Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con this year will be hosted by Aisha Tyler. This isn’t Tyler’s first SDCC rodeo, as she previously hosted the Warner Bros. panel in 2015, moderating the first look at Suicide Squad and the official trailer for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The presentation is expected to feature Warner Bros’ upcoming Harry Potter spinoff/sequel Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters, as well as its slate of DCEU films including Aquaman, Shazam!, and Wonder Woman 1984. The first trailers for Aquaman and Shazam! are expected to be revealed during the presentation. The panel is set for Saturday, June 21 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm PST. Tyler is also attending the Friday, June 20 panel for Archer in the Indigo Ballroom.

Tyler is not actually replacing Chris Hardwick, who moderated Warner Bros’ presentation in 2017 and years prior, as he was not asked to return this year. It was confirmed, however, that Yvette Nicole Brown would be replacing Hardwick as moderator for AMC’s The Walking Dead panel. Hardwick was reportedly not slated for a repeat appearance even before he was accused of abusive behavior by his ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra in June. Soon after the accusations were made public, Hardwick withdrew from scheduled Hall H appearances for AMC and BBC America. BBC America has yet to announce a replacement host for their panel.

Tyler is best known as the voice of Lana Kane in Archer. She was one of the co-hosts of CBS’ The Talk from 2011 to 2017 and has hosted The CW’s revival of Whose Line Is It Anyway? since its premiere in 2013. Tyler also hosted Ubisoft’s E3 press conferences from 2012 to 2016.
