Tite Kubo, the legendary creator of Bleach, has finally decided to share what he’s been working on since the series’ end, a one-shot manga titled Burn the Witch.
The latest issue of Shonen Jump featured a preview of the two leads from Burn the Witch in anticipation of the July 14th release. The first key visual didn’t reveal much, aside from the color scheme, but there is a sighting of the words “witches” and “dragons,” and “Reverse London.”
Tite Kubo’s Burn the Witch is a new one-shot manga that will sit at 62 pages, published in the July 14 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. Although this is Kubo’s triumphant return, there is no guarantee for a series continuation following this debut.
As far as Bleach, the upcoming live-action adaptation has released its first full trailer. The film is to adapt the first arc of the series, “Substitute Shinigami.”
The confirmed cast includes Sota Fukushi as Ichigo Kurosaki and Hana Sugisaki as Rukia Kuchiki, MIYAVI as Byakuya Kuchiki, Ryou Yoshizawa, as Uryuu Ishida, Taichi Saotome as Renji Abarai, Erina Mano as Orihime Inoue, Tomo Koyanagi as Chad Yasutora, Yosuke Egochi as Isshin Kurosaki, Masami Nagasawa as Masaki Kurosaki, and Seiichi Tanabe as Keisuke Urahara.
