San Diego Comic-Con International is just in two weeks and there is much news to be discussed. Specifically about a certain celebrity who usually has a strong presence at SDCC, but will be absent this year due to a scandal. Popular AMC host Chris Hardwick usually moderates huge panels featuring star-studded casts, but due to the revelation of him inflicting emotional abuse on his former partner Chloe Dykstra- he has been rightfully removed from all schedules at SDCC.
The studios and brands that he has been known to be associated with have all done the right thing and cut ties with him. This left one burning question from fans going to SDCC- who will take over his moderating duties? Fans should look no more for The Wrap has confirmed that actress Yvette Nicole Brown will be moderating both The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead panels this year at the con.
Fans from the show will immediately recognize Brown for she was a frequent guest on AMC’s Talking Dead after shows. She is a die-hard fan of the programs and could not be a better choice to lead these panels. She also has lots of experience hosting popular panels at SDCC. She has moderated the cast of ABC’s Once Upon a Time multiple times in the past. She is most known for her breakout role in NBC’s Community.
AMC and SDCC handled this situation in a professional manner. Hardwick was quickly removed without mercy and was also quickly replaced by a superior choice.
