Krysten Ritter Set to Make Her Directorial Debut in Season 3 of ‘Jessica Jones’
Star of Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Krysten Ritter, will get behind the camera for the show’s upcoming third season. This next venture will mark Ritter’s directorial debut.
The third season of the popular Netflix comic book/drama series recently started in filming in New York City with Ritter returning as the titular butt-kicking private investigator. Right now, details about which episode Ritter will be directing is being kept under wraps, but the actress is excited to be directing an episode.

Ritter told Deadline: “I am beyond thrilled to make my directorial debut on Marvel’s Jessica Jones. The entire crew and cast has become family to me, and I’m so appreciative of the opportunity to work with our incredible team in this new way. I am so grateful that Melissa Rosenberg, Jeph Loeb, Marvel and Netflix entrusted me to take the reins.”
Jessica Jones series creator, Melissa Rosenberg is set to return as show runner for the new season with Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss and Eka Darville expected to return to reprise their roles as Trish Walker, Jeri Hogarth and Malcolm Ducasse, respectively.
