DC Entertainment Reveals Upcoming Covers, Sale Dates, and Artists for DC Zoom And DC Ink Titles

DC Entertainment announced its artist line up for its previously announced DC Zoom and DC Ink Titles. The artists will join bestselling authors such as Shae Fontana and Meg Cabot to create diverse and relatable stories for YA readers. The stories will feature some of DC’s biggest stars such as Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, and Black Canary, in addition to many other heroes.

DC Entertainment’s New Publishing Wings Source: Comicsbeat

DC Zoom is geared towards readers between 8-12. The line will make it’s debut in April 2019 with the release of Super Sons: The Polarshield Project by author Ridley Pearson and illustrated by Ile Gonzalez. The line will also feature the upcoming titles:

Super Sons: The Polarshield Project (April 2019)- written by Ridley Pearson and illustrated by Ile Gonzalez

DC Super Hero Girls: Spaced Out (May 2019) written by Shea Fontana, and illustrated by Agnes Garbowska

Batman: Overdrive (August 2019)– written by Shea Fontana and illustrated by Marcelo Di Chiara

Black Canary: Ignite (October 2019)– written by Meg Cabot and illustrated by Cara McGee

DC Ink will be geared more toward YA readers and will also make its debut with its release of Mera: Tidebreaker from New York Times bestselling author Danielle Paige and illustrator Stephen Byrne, which is also set to release in April 2019. The upcoming DC Ink Titles include:

Mera: Tidebreaker (April 2019) – written by Danielle Paige and illustrated by Stephen Byrne

Under The Moon: A Catwoman Tale (May 2019)– written by Lauren Myracle and illustrated by Isaac Goodhart

Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass (June 2019)– written by Mariko Tamaki and illustrated by Steve Pugh

Teen Titans: Raven (July 2019)– written by Kami Garcia and illustrated by Gabriel Picolo

Authors of the upcoming DC Entertainment books will share more details during panels at the American Library Association or the ALA Annual Conference & Exhibition in New Orleans from June 21-26.
