Respawn Reveals Its Star Wars Game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
During the EA Play presentation, Respawn’s CEO, Vice Zampella, formally announced the studio’s forthcoming Star Wars game. Thus far, the new game from the Titanfall developer has a title–Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order— setting, and launch window.
Zampella says the title is set in the period between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, which is an era termed the “Dark Times.” The unnamed protagonist will allow players to control a lightsaber-wielding Padawan who survived Order 66–the event that begat the destruction of the Jedi Order.

Interestingly, no further details were made public. Screenshots, trailers, concept art, or even a title/logo art were all absent from the EA Play event where this particular Star Wars venture is concerned. Perhaps Respawn and EA are still hard at work with Lucasfilm, attempting to nail down specifics, thereby leaving the audience with only a cursory tease of what’s to come. New information should arrive soon, though. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is expected to launch during 2019’s holiday season.
