‘Silver & Black’ Spin-off Release Date Pulled From Sony
Sony studio is said to be searching for a new release date for Spiderman’s spin-off Silver & Black, as it was originally to be released February 8, 2019.
Silver & Black centers on Silver Sable and Black Cat, which will be directed by Love & Basketball’s Gina Prince-Bythewood. Casting for the characters have not been announced, so it’s safe to assume the film wouldn’t have been ready by next year.
Silver Sable was first introduced in 1985, a mercenary who runs a company that hunts war criminals. Black Cat aka Felicia Hardy is an acrobatic cat burglar.
The most recent draft from the film is written by Lindsey Beer and Geneva Robertson-Dworet. Prince-Bythewood mentioned the film’s team is moving forward with the script.
