Terry Crews and Ludacris cast as leads in Indie Film ‘John Henry’
Terry Crews and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges already have a lot to celebrate with the hit show Brooklyn Nine-Nine being picked back up after being cancelled and another Fast and Furious installment in the works. Now, the two actors can celebrate together on the set of their new movie, John Henry.
John Henry is a dramatic-triller being described as a re-telling of the folklore which follows the life of John Henry, played by Crews, a man who has traded violence for a peaceful life in South Los Angeles. He discovers two immigrant children running from the leader of his former gang, played by Ludacris, and is forced to choose between his peaceful life or revisiting his troubled past to give them a future.
The film is being directed by first time director Will Forbes who also co-wrote the script with screenwriter Doug Skinner. Are you excited to see Terry and Ludacris tackle these lead roles? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
