Regina Hall Joins Issa Rae and Marsai Martin in Universal’s ‘Little’
Regina Hall will star alongside Issa Rae and Black-ish star Marsai Martin in Will Packer’s upcoming movie Little.
Hall has been attached to the project as an executive producer for while but it has been confirmed that she jas joined the cast. The screenplay was based on Marsai Martin’s original idea and the 13-year-old is also executive producing. The movie will follow a woman who gets a second chance to live the carefree life of her younger self (Martin).
Producing the film are Will Packer and James Lopez, who worked with Hall on last year’s hit movie Girls Trip. Black-ish creator Kenya Barris is also attached as a producer, and Hall herself is executive producing as well. Tina Gordon (Peeples, Drumline) is set to direct the film. Erik Baiers and Mika Pryce are overseeing the project for Universal.
Hall and Rae’s characters are still unknown and no details have been released yet. Little will hit theaters Sept. 20, 2019.
