Daniel Dae Kim and Keanu Reeves Join Netflix Rom-Com Starring Randall Park and Ali Wong
Not too long ago, Netflix announced that a romantic comedy was in the works, one that would be starring two Asian American leads. With the upcoming premiere of Crazy Rich Asians, it’s refreshing to see more diversity in this genre.
After it was announced that actor Randall Park (Fresh Off the Boat) and comedian Ali Wong were the leads of this Netflix movie, we are now learning who else we can expect to see.

Actors Keanu Reeves (The Matrix) and Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-O) will be joining alongside Park and Wong. Not only that, Charlyne Yi (Steven Universe) and Karan Soni (Deadpool) will also star in the film. Additional cast include Michelle Buteau, Vivian Bang, James Saito, Lyrics Born, and Susan Park.

Titled Always Be My Maybe, the Netflix film is directed by Nahnatchka Khan who has previously also worked on Fresh Off the Boat. The movie follows two childhood sweethearts who once fell out of love and reconnect 15 years later. The film is expected for release in 2019.
