The feature film based on the Valiant Comic series, Bloodshot has just added additional cast members to join Vin Diesel as the title character.
Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver), Sam Heughan (Outlander) and Michael Sheen (Passengers) have all joined the cast of the comic-to-film adaptation, but there’s no word yet on which characters the trio of actors are set to play.
Upcoming projects for Gonzalez, Heughan and Sheen include the following films: Kung Fury, The Spy Who Dumped Me and The Voyage of Doctor Doolittle, respectively.
For those unfamiliar with Bloodshot, he is a soldier who was mortally wounded, brought back to life using nanotechnology and sent on a mission to gather super-powered beings known as “harbingers”.
Bloodshot fits into Sony’s five-film plan which is set to show audiences the world of Valiant Comics, specifically as it pertains to both Bloodshot and Harbingers.
