A little over two years ago, Tiffany of Girls’ Generation released her critically acclaimed debut solo EP/mini album I Just Wanna Dance lead by the single with the same name. The 7 track ep was filled with sounds of summer late nights and influences from 90s pop divas. A beautiful was to start off the switch from being a girl group member to being recognized as a solo artist while still being a part of the group.

‘I Just Wanna Dance’ made a lasting impression in fans hearts. I chose to make it today’s song of the day not just because the two year anniversary just passed but also because with the season change and temperature rising, I felt that it was a perfect song to fit the mood. The semester/school year is ending for a lot of us and Tiffany unknowingly captured that feeling of relief and finally getting to take a well-needed break.

The record itself is an upbeat 80s/90s inspired synth pop track that takes you back while bringing you foreward. It describes a night of dancing after a long storm which makes it a great song for any moment. I 10/10 would recommend this record to any random person who wants a good music recommendation. Do yourself a favor and listen to some good music in 2018. “I Just Wanna Dance” is a good place to start.

Tiffany’s Mini Album/EP I Just Wanna Dance is available to be streamed on Spotify and purchased on iTunes.
