Michael B. Jordan to Star in Rooster Teeth’s ‘gen:LOCK’
It’s just been announced that Michael B. Jordan will be starring in Rooster Teeth’s new animated show, gen:LOCK as main character Julian Chase!

In case you’re unaware, gen:LOCK is a 3D animated mecha series, inspired by mech anime. According to Rooster Teeth, the show’s summary is:
“On the losing side of a global culture war, an Experimental Science Unit is pushed to identify a team of young pilots who can control a variety of prototype, next-generation mecha – giant, robotic, weaponized bodies. The recruits will find, however, that their newfound abilities come at no small cost.”
Julian Chase was first revealed at last year’s NYCC RWBY panel, by show director Gray G. Haddock. Julian is a former fighter pilot who was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Julian is described as, “charming, funny, and the first guy to break the ice to make sure people are doing OK.”
The mix of an anime-style show and Michael B. Jordan is perfect, and we can’t wait to hear him as the charming Julian Chase!
