‘Deadpool 2’ Breaks R-Rated Box Office Record for Thursday Previews with an Estimated $15M+

Deadpool 2 is officially in theaters today and with that comes major box office earnings. With last night’s previews, the R-rated film has already broken a box office record.

According to Deadline, the David Leitch directed comic book movie, pulled in an estimated $15 million-plus last night to set the new record for highest grossing R-rated film for Thursday previews.

Deadpool 2 ousted previous record holder, It, which made $13.5 million when it was released last September.
