Free Tournament for ‘Mario Tennis Aces’ Drops on the eShop Next Week
Beginning on Thursday, May 24, a demo for Mario Tennis Aces will be available to download on the Nintendo Switch eShop. A week later, the online tournament will begin running from 6 pm PT on June 1, right up to midnight on June 3.
In the tournament players will be able to choose from classic characters like Mario, Bowser, Peach, and Yoshi to face-off against opponents with their racket in hand. Players who win the preliminary matches will earn points which can then be used to unlock 5 additional characters hidden away within the demo.
Mario Tennis Aces will be the first Mario’s first return to the sport in nearly 3 years since the launch of Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash on the Wii U. Mario Tennis Aces is set to drop on June 22 as Nintendo Switch exclusive!
