‘Avengers Infinity War’ Is The Second-Fastest Film to Cross $500 Million In The US
As of yesterday, May 11, 2018, Avengers Infinity War has become the second-fastest movie to cross the $500 million mark in US box office, falling behind Star Wars The Force Awaken, which earned $540,058,914 in only ten days.
Infinity War managed to get $502,010,103 in 15 days, but that’s not the only record the film has broken, as it is the biggest-ever U.S. opening weekend and the film with the record of shortest time to earn $1 billion dollars in the worldwide box office.

If things continue to go as they seem to be going, Infinity War is expected to earn by the end of the weekend around $546 million within American soil, which in return could turn it into the eighth-highest-grossing movie of all time.
So far, Infinity War has earned over $800 million internationally, which puts the film in the list of the films that have past the $1 billion mark. Taking into its performance in theatres it’s not impossible to imagine that Infinity War could gross up to $2 billion globally.
