Rick and Morty creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon have signed a long-term deal with Adult Swim, which led to a major 70-episode renewal for the series. This was announced by Roiland and Harmon themselves, via an Instagram post that features both of them showering together.

This new deal will almost triple the amount of episodes the series currently has. Rick and Morty has been one of the network’s top-rated shows, with the season 3 finale scoring a 3.2 rating in adults 18 to 24–the highest ratings in network history. That finale was also the most-watched telecast that day by adults 18-24, 18-34 and 18-49. It follows a genius but sociopathic scientist and his teenage grandson on their incredibly dangerous adventures accross time and space.

What do you think about this? Are you excited for more Rick and Morty episodes?
