Netflix seems to have found a hidden treasure within animation. BoJack Horseman opened the floodgates of success that allowed the streaming service to produce more animated content such as F is for Family, Castlevania, and Big Mouth. Netflix is not planning to slow down in this field anytime soon for another soon to be hit is in the works. Tuca and Bertie was announced to be their next animated program earlier in the year. Coming from the same team that created BoJack Horseman, the new comedy focuses on two thirty-year-old bird-women who live in the same apartment complex. One can already see how this could be similar to other Netflix content, but what will make it a sure to be hit is it’s two leading stars.

Tiffany Haddish has already been announced to be playing Tuca. The Girls Trip star has been deservingly shinning in the limelight recently. Fans can also expect to see her alongside Tracy Morgan in The Last O.G. on TBS. Via The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix subscribers now know who will be co-leading the show as Bertie.
