Beyond Good and Evil 2 Reveals First Gameplay Footage
The first wave of gameplay footage has been revealed for Ubisoft’s Beyond Good and Evil 2. Still, in the pre-alpha stages, the footage shows off the game’s movement, including a peek into the multiplayer spaceship traversal.
The trailer highlighting these features is just a mere portion of the just over a half hour long Twitch stream where Senior Creative Director, Michel Ancel and others close to the project discussed the game’s development.
The trailer shows that multiplayer will be a major focus in Beyond Good & Evil 2. Recognizing the frustration players may face when navigating space and losing track of their party, developers implemented the Armada. The Armada serves as a way of locking in with friends, even allowing players to fly in formation with their crew of pirates.
Since Beyond Good & Evil 2 was revealed last E3 Ubisoft has been fairly quiet in terms of updates. With E3 2018 right around the corner, this trailer is likely just a taste of what’s to come next month. What did you think of BG&E 2’s first gameplay footage?
