The Merc with the mouth’s second time on the silver screen is nearly upon us and the box office tracking estimates put the sequel to 2016’s Deadpool ahead of its predecessor.

According to Variety, Deadpool 2 is headed for a huge opening weekend with early tracking suggesting that the film will take in $150 million domestically. The first film in the franchise made $132 million domestically, finishing it’s theatrical run with $783 million which made it the top-grossing R-rated film of all time.

David Leitch is directing the flick which centres around the anti-hero recruiting for a team called X-Force.

Ryan Reynolds is returning as Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool, with new additions to the cast including Zazie Beetz as Domino and Josh Brolin as Cable. Rounding out the cast are Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Julian Dennison as Russell, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Lewis Tan as Shatterstar, Terry Crews as Bedlam and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al.
