A Quiet Place, which was released earlier this month, has received immense reactions from fans and even celebrities. Deadline has confirmed that a sequel to the movie is currently in the works.

Paramount Pictures and its CEO Jim Gianopulos attended CinemaCon where he revealed the sequel is underway, but no further details have been revealed.

“We’re laying the foundation for the success that Paramount had in the past and I’m incredibly confident that we have the right team, culture, and attitude in place to take Paramount to new heights. And we already started on that road to giant success with A Quiet Place.”

A Quiet Place follows the life of an American family who is forced to live in silence due to creatures that are attracted to sound. John Krasinski (The Office) not only plays one of the titular characters, but he is also credited as the film’s director and producer. Emily Blunt (The Girl on the Train).

A Quiet Place has grossed $213 million worldwide, and you can currently catch it in theaters.
