‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Press Conference Recap!

Before the event started we got to check out the latest Infinity War merchandise.

Once we walked in the ballroom, there was a black curtain with a white Avengers “A” logo on it that took up a quarter of the room. We were told that the moderator was going to be a really nice surprise and they were right. Jeff Goldblum moderated the event and he was an absolute blast.
They then dropped the curtains to reveal an almost complete panel of Marvel heroes: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Pratt, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff and the big bad, Josh Brolin. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo were also on hand, along with producer Kevin Feige.

Most of the answers from the cast turned out to just be misdirects because they obviously couldn’t say anything about the movie or the future of their characters in the MCU.
When asked what Star-Lord’s reaction is to seeing Earthlings for the first time in 30 years?
Pratt avoided answering that question altogether.
“It might be best for you to see it, so I’m going to talk about bass fishing. OK?” Which he proceeded to do for about a full minute.

When asked how much of Infinity War can be considered Black Panther 1.5, Boseman replied, “Avengers: Infinity War is Avengers: Infinity War. It’s not Black Panther 1.5 or Black Panther 2 or anything like that. I think we have a strong presence in the movie, and it was great to have some of these people in Wakanda. But it is its own movie.”
