A New Film in the Conjuring Series Arrives in Summer 2019
As James Wan’s Conjuring universe continues to expand, more details surface. The latest bit of news comes in the form of a release date for an unspecified film. According to Entertainment Weekly, Warner Bros. has set a date for July 3, 2019.
This mid-summer release could belong to The Crooked Man-starring feature, The Conjuring 3, or a spinoff that’s yet to receive an announcement. Wan’s last update on the third Conjuring film revealed only that the script was being penned. Information concerning the setting and plot remain under wraps; the same can be said of The Crooked Man movie.
The next film in the franchise to open in theaters is The Nun, which arrives this coming September 7. Chronologically, it serves as the first film in the series, set years prior to the events of Annabelle: Creation. A first look poster for the spinoff recently hit the web:
