‘Cowboy Bebop’ Cafes Coming to Japan for a Limited Time

Cowboy Bebop is turning 20 this year and to celebrate, fans will be able to visit a cafe that features a themed menu and special, limited-edition merchandise.

The two cafes will be a collaboration between the series and Animate Cafe, who has teamed up with other animes such as Hunter x Hunter and Digimon in the past. They will run from May 15 until June 10 in Tokyo’s Akihabara and Osaka’s Nipponbashi locations.

Considered a cult classic by many, Cowboy Bebop first aired in Japan in 1998, where it ran for 26 episodes until 1999. Set in the year 2071, the anime follows a group of bounty hunters and their adventures on their spaceship the Bebop. It was also the first anime to ever air on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. 20 years later, the series is still widely popular, and not just among anime fans.

What do you think about a Cowboy Bebop cafe? Would you visit? Let us know in the comments below, and don’t forget to share!
