Notaro will be playing Chief Engineer Denise Reno of the U.S.S. Hiawatha, a character that doesn’t seem to be in the Star Trek canon and who has little to no information in the character description from CBS.

They have also declined to confirm which episodes will she be appearing on the show, leaving everything about the character a complete mystery.

Production for this CBS All Access series is set to begin later this month, with rehearsals going through this date. However, as of today, there has been no confirmed air date for the show, only the hint that it’ll be coming somewhere in 2019.
