Randall Park is officially part of the DCEU.

Heroic Hollywood reported that during Aquaman’s reshoots, Fresh Off The Boat’s Randall Park will have a role in the upcoming DCEU standalone film. A tweet from Aquaman director James Wan confirms Park cast in the film.

Park has been added to the cast as Dr. Shin during the film’s reshoots which are currently underway. In the comics, Dr. Stephen Shin was a scientist and friend of Tom Curry who helped a young Arthur Curry develop his abilities. He later became obsessed with discovering the location of the lost city of Atlantis.

Aquaman premieres on December 21, 2018.
