HBO Game of Thrones Finishes Final Battle Scene Over 55 Days

Game of Thrones is making big moves towards its final season.

Watchers On The Wall, a Game of Thrones online community, shared a photo from assistant director Jonathan Quinan, depicting that they have finished filming the final battle scene. Filming for this final battle scene reportedly took 55 days to film. Based on the photo, the final battle will be most likely taking place in Winterfell.

CBR also shares a few clues about the final season.

Toome is the location of the Moneyglass set, often dressed as Winterfell and Magheramorne, where filming for scenes set in Castle Black and the Wall often take place. There is mention of a third location, the name of which has not been revealed.

The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones will air in 2019 on HBO.
