Colton Haynes Returning to ‘Arrow’ Season Seven as Series Regular
Fresh off the news of its season seven renewal, Team Arrow is shoring up its ranks with Colton Haynes returning as a series regular as Roy Harper.
“We’re very fortunate and excited to welcome back Colton to Arrow,” the show’s executive producers said in a statement. “While we’ve always enjoyed Colton’s returns to the show, we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him return as a proper series regular — and we’re very excited about all the creative opportunities Roy Harper’s return affords us.”

Haynes joined the show in the season one episode Dodger, then left when Roy took the fall for being the Arrow and faked his death.
“I could not be happier to return to my role as Roy Harper alongside my Arrow family,” Haynes added.
He recently came back to Star City when Ricardo Diaz kidnapped him to put pressure on Oliver. After being rescued, he and Thea left town with Nyssa al Ghul to destroy the last two Lazarus pits.
Since Roy is considered a dead felon in Star City, it will be interesting to see how they bring him back to town.
Arrow airs its season six finale Thursday, May 17 at 9 pm on The CW.
