Russo Brothers Warn Fans Of “Avengers 4” Mystery Title

Some may have already forgotten that Avengers: Infinity War also had “Part 1” included in the title at one point. When Marvel Studios first announced phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2014, the next two Avengers sequels were known as Infinity War Part 1 and 2. It made sense for the studio to capitalize on making this huge event a two-part series considering that the same strategy worked out well for the Twilight and Harry Potter sagas at the time. Along the line, the fourth Avengers film dropped “Part 2” from its name in exchange for a new yet to be announced subtitle. One cannot really blame the studio for changing the name when more and more films keep trying to capitalize on two-part finales.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has teased that the fourth film’s title has not yet been revealed because it would be considered a spoiler for Infinity War. With the new epic opening in less than a month from now, it cannot be too long before the official new title reveal. Like with many of these long suspenseful waits- fans have been endlessly speculating online. The Russo Brothers find plenty of time to interact with fans online despite their crazy directing duties. Just last week they responded to a nervous fan on Twitter who could not hide their nerves going into the next film.

There are only two updates to be found here. The Russos Brothers really know how to hype up a crowd. They also seem to be excited to announce the title but are trying to control their patience for the right time. It is extremely likely that the title will be publicly known by the time San Diego Comic-Con rolls out this year. There is always the possibility that it may be announced before that, but one should assume that the directors want to give enough time for as many people to see Infinity War first around the world.

What do you think the mystery title will be? The film will still feature Thanos and the every growing infinity stone arch so it cannot be anything too far-fetched like “Secret Invasion”. It is also a spoiler so it cannot be too simple like “Infinity Gauntlet”. Sound off your prediction in the comments and get ready for Avengers: Infinity War‘s April 27th release date is already less than a month away!
