‘The Get Down’ Star Shameik Moore Joins NBC Comedy Pilot ‘Bright Futures’
Shamiek Moore, best known for his role in Netflix’s The Get Down, has recently been added to NBC’s comedy pilot Bright Futures. Read all about the show’s synopsis below!
“[Bright Futures] centers on a group of friends all stumbling through the transition from the clueless, immature twentysomethings they are now, to the successful professionals they’re destined to be. Moore plays Aaron, one of four friends living in an L.A. apartment. A drinking blowout on the night he passed the bar put a halt to any grandiose ideas and he now works as a lowly personal injury attorney.”
The show is created by Kenya Barris, who is also the creator of ABC’s black-ish and grow-ish. The future series will be narrated by F.R.I.E.N.D.S. star Lisa Kudrow.
Moore will be joining the cast alongside model and actress Emily Ratajkowski (Entourage), and Calum Worthy (American Vandal).
