Narcos star Pedro Pascal is joining director Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot for the Wonder Woman sequel. This will be the second time that Pascal and Jenkins work together, after their first film Exposed.

He will also be starring along side Kristen Wiig who will be playing Cheetah, one of Wonder Woman’s nemesis.

Plot details, including Pascal’s role in the film, are still under wraps, however, Patty Jenkins will be returning as a director, writer, and producer on the film after its success in the box office where it grossed over $800 million worldwide and its critical success even receiving a nomination from the Producers Guild as one of the best movies of 2017.

Warner Bros. has released that Pedro Pascal will be playing a character that is considered a “pivotal” to the story.

Pascal is currently filming Triple Frontier for Netflix which is set to release some time in 2019.
