The Spice Girls’ Are Reportedly Planning An Animated Superhero Movie
“If you wanna be my lover, you gotta be…” okay with me being a superhero, or at least in the Spice Girls’ upcoming project, an animated film that’s been shopped to potential production partners.
According to Variety, who was the first to break the news, all five members of the group have signed off for their image to be used in a superhero-themed movie based on the “girl power” message.
Each character will be voiced by a Spice Girl — Victoria Beckham (“Posh Spice”), Melanie Brown (“Scary Spice”), Emma Bunton (“Baby Spice”), Melanie Chisholm (“Sporty Spice”) and Geri Halliwell (“Ginger Spice”)— and all of them will feature a “girl power” that reflects each girl’s personality.

According to a Variety source, the “girls are fired up about the idea”, and it’s just what the world needs:
“The Spice Girls are thinking big in terms of a franchise on a global scale. They’re the most successful girl group on the planet. It’s just what Marvel or Disney needs.”
However, The Spice Girl’s manager, Simon Fuller, made not comment on the group’s future plans.
