The release of Deadpool 2 is only a few short months away, and with the release of a new trailer, buzz is continuing to grow as information gets released about what we can expect from the sequel of the 2016 hit.

It was confirmed that Shatterstar- a genetically engineered, time-traveling, sword-toting fighter from a different dimension and a crucial/founding member of the X-Force-would be in the film earlier this year and we got our first glimpse of him when 20th Century Fox released the trailer back in February. Fans immediately started to speculate about who the actor playing him could be and it was instantly clear that there was a favorite and a front-runner: Lewis Tan.

Tan stayed pretty hush on the subject but he was on Twitter liking fan comments and Shatterstar related images and he confirmed that he had worked with Terry Crews in a recent project, barely a month after filming for Deadpool 2 had wrapped. Well, with the release of the newest trailer, the actor has finally confirmed it, taking to both his Instagram and his Twitter, sharing the group shot of the X-Force down below.
