‘The Lego Movie 2’ Adds Actress and Comedian Tiffany Haddish
Looks like The Lego Movie just got a whole lot funnier!
Comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish, best known for her breakout role in Girls Trip, has been added to voice one of the characters for the sequel, Variety has learned.
Details about Haddish’s role and which character she will be voicing as not been revealed.
Mike Mitchell (Trolls) will be directing the sequel, and Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who directed the first movie, joined as the sequel’s producers.
The first movie nearly grossed $470 million worldwide in 2014.
The Lego Movie 2 is set to hit theaters February 8, 2019.
