‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ To Take Place After ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ & ‘Avengers 4’
If you thought the Guardians of the Galaxy would get lost or mixed up in the madness that is Avengers: Infinity War, worry not friends! Director James Gunn himself took to twitter to clarify when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 would take place.
As seen in the tweet below, when asked if GOTG Vol. 3 would happen in the four years between GOTG Vol. 2 and Avengers: Infinity War or not Gunn flat-out said “Guardians Vol. 3 will take place after Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4.”

With the contracts of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johannson and Jeremy Renner coming to an end with no words of renegotiation, it is somewhat reassuring to know that the Guardians will remain a priority in the MCU. Keep in mind that Kevin Feige himself said not too long ago, “There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after…”. These are exciting times!
So tell me friends, are you excited or are you excited? Sound off in the comments and on Twitter and check out the trailer for Infinity War below!
