‘Black Mirror’s Mackenzie Davis in Talks to Join ‘Terminator’ Reboot

Linda Hamilton and lead Arnold Schwarzenegger are set to return to the robotic franchise, with Tim Miller directing. James Cameron and David Ellison are producing the film.

According to insiders,” Davis would be one of the new faces to join the reboot and is the studio and Miller’s first choice for a while. However, the casting needs to be approved by Cameron, who is currently filming the Avatar sequels.

Davis is best known for her role on AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire, as well as Yorkie from Black Mirror‘s San Junipero episode.

The reboot will be a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day and is set to release July 25, 2019.
