Vin Diesel Cast As Bloodshot In Upcoming Film Adaptation of Valiant’s ‘Bloodshot’
Vin Diesel has been slated to star in Sony Picture’s upcoming film adaptation of Valiant’s Bloodshot.
Diesel will be playing Ray Garrison aka Bloodshot. According to Deadline, Bloodshot is the “central character in the Valiant Expanded Universe, composed of thousands of characters embodying various genres, tones, and demographic groups — ordinary people in extraordinary situations rather than gods and demi-gods”.

Brought back from the dead by Rising Spirit Technologies through the use of nanotechnology and suffering total memory loss, Ray struggles to reconnect with who he was while learning what sort of weapon he has become, with the help of a group of other augmented combatants (called Chainsaw).
Bloodshot will reunite Diesel with Fast and the Furious producer Neal H. Moritz, and will be Dave Wilson’s (Deadpool, Terminator) directorial debut.
Principal photography for Sony’s Bloodshot will begin in July.
