Crash Bandicoot Remaster Confirmed for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo’s March Direct just ended and, WOW, was it pack some news! One of the many surprises to come out of the Direct was that the previous Sony poster boy, Crash Bandicoot, will be spinning his way on the Switch.

Originally released on the PS4 in June of 2017 the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be re-released for the Switch on July 10, of this year. When the collection was released on the PS4 it quickly climbed the ladder and became the “No. 1 top-selling remastered collection in PS4 history.

This will be the first appearance of the mainline Crash series on a Nintendo platform. However, the bandicoot has made appearances in the past in Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Crash: Mind Over Mutant and Crash of the Titans.

Earlier we reported on a potential Spyro remaster which alluded to the possibility of this port happening. With this confirmed, the likelihood of the Spyro rumor is looking increasingly promising.
