‘Top Gun 2’ Will Reportedly Film Over The Summer
It seems like things are starting to get done for Top Gun 2, or Top Gun: Maverick, as it’s been said that this upcoming sequel has its eyes set on beginning shooting over this summer, as reported by Omega Underground,
While cast and crew have not been hired for this film, Omega Underground reveals that those are Paramount next steps, as currently, they are eyeing director Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy, Only The Brave, Oblivion) to helm the project.
Meanwhile, Cruise’s other project Edge of Tomorrow 2 is looking like it’ll be shooting somewhere around the end of 2018 or early 2019, as Emily Blunt will be busy over the summer as well shooting Jungle Cruise, which reportedly will end shooting by August while Top Gun 2 could be done by November.
As said by OU, Top Gun: Maverick will explore Maverick’s role in a modern military but no further details on the plot were revealed.
